These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TurnLens platform, website, and services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by TurnLens, Inc. (“TurnLens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
TurnLens provides an AI-powered turnover inspection platform for short-term rental operators. The Service allows users to record property baselines, capture pre-clean and post-clean walkthroughs, and receive AI-generated inspection reports that compare walkthroughs against the baseline. The Service includes web-based tools for managing properties, inviting cleaners, reviewing inspection results, and generating reports.
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@turnlens.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
The Service is offered through subscription plans with varying feature sets and usage limits. Current plans, pricing, and included features are described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify plan offerings and pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.
New accounts may include a free trial period. The trial provides access to the Service for a limited time and number of turnovers, as specified at the time of signup. No credit card is required for the trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the billing cycle you select. Payments are processed through our third-party payment processor. You authorize us to charge your designated payment method for recurring subscription fees.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until the end of the paid period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in a promotional offer. If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, contact billing@turnlens.com within 14 days of the charge.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: managing turnover inspections for properties you own or manage. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including walkthrough recordings, property photos, property rules, and inspection data (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
By uploading content to the Service, you grant TurnLens a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This includes transmitting walkthrough frames to third-party AI services for analysis. This license ends when you delete Your Content or close your account.
Your Content is not used to train AI models. Walkthrough media sent to AI services for analysis is processed solely to generate your inspection results and is not retained by those services for training or other purposes.
Walkthrough media is retained for 12 months on active subscriptions. After account cancellation, Your Content is deleted within 60 days, subject to legal retention requirements. You may request earlier deletion by contacting support@turnlens.com.
If you invite cleaners or team members to use the Service, you are responsible for ensuring they understand and comply with these Terms. Cleaner accounts are managed under your subscription and do not have independent billing. You are responsible for the actions taken under cleaner accounts you have invited.
Inspection reports generated by the Service are produced using artificial intelligence and computer vision technology. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated results are informational and advisory in nature. They should not be treated as a definitive assessment of property condition, a substitute for professional inspection services, or the sole basis for insurance or damage claims. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated findings before taking action.
The Service, including its design, code, branding, documentation, and AI models, is owned by TurnLens and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service as described herein. “TurnLens” and associated logos are trademarks of TurnLens, Inc.
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as AI providers, payment processors, and analytics tools). Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. For material changes that affect your use, we will provide reasonable advance notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TurnLens and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, bookings, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to TurnLens in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be free of errors or defects.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TurnLens and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 6.1 (Ownership), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Disclaimer), 14 (Indemnification), and 17 (Governing Law).
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. For material changes, we will also notify you by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations. The arbitration shall take place in the State of Delaware.
